With that in mind, which Cities: Skylines starting maps are the best for players to start with? In fact, sometimes it just takes a great starting map to ensure that players have a breeze when it comes to understanding the game’s mechanics and unleash the full extent of their creativity. Of course, the number of features and available elements can make the game overwhelming for them, but never impossible to play. After all, Cities: Skylines has a plethora of both DLC and fanmade content that allows players to create the cities of their dreams, from traffic-less utopias, faithful city recreations, and even futuristic cities straight out of science fiction. And I imagine even to draw up drafts of how to make the best possible city on a favorite map.When it comes to city simulators, the in-depth mechanics of Cities: Skylines make it an excellent avenue for mayor wannabes and city architects out there. So I'm wondering if anyone of you know of any mod in C:S that make it possible to zoom out, being able to watch the whole maps from above, without having to unlock all the tiles first? Also, if possible, a mod that make the best possible graphics, so that I can post a new and even better guide for the community on Steam, YouTube and here, with HUGE maps that people can ponder over, imagining their cities on such and such maps, since it seem like a certain type of personalities really do like a well planned city. I do plan to make a new video, adding the names of the maps, the percentage of suitable area for building, what base theme they have, and what types of connections (such as rail, ship, airplane) they have or lack, as well as if resources are very low or lacking.īefore I do that, however, I wish I could also get screenshots of the maps, with all the statistics, making it easier to see where resources are, height of terrain etc.
